Historical Cleanup

Historical Cleanup is the process of getting prior months or years’ transactional data into your general ledger. Said another way, this is the process of getting your books caught up. It includes the process of reconciling -- month by month --  all of your bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll. This will give you the confidence to report your profit and loss statement to banks and tax authorities.

If you find that…

  • Your accounting and bookkeeping does not provide you with the information that you need to run your business
  • Your cash accounts have not been reconciled in months/years
  • Your revenue and expenses do not match what's in your bank account or the ebbs and flows of your bank account
  • The data in your general ledger has been deleted/hijacked

… Then fear not. Millions of business find themselves managing their business via their bank account balance.
