When GrowthLab started working with the founder this 6-year old company, he was surrounded by a small, technical team. They were very much in “startup mode” and, like many others, had not yet articulated a management framework. The team was in the midst of releasing a new generation of the product and were moving quickly in anticipation of a rapid growth. The company’s product includes hardware and a recurring monthly monitoring services connected to an app to provide an end-to-end customer solution.

The company was challenged with the following:

  • An anticipation of a land grab in an industry where first-to-market wins
  • A lack of robust systems and management framework to handle the scaling journey
